Faint Hearts Never Won Fair Ladies!
Kathy is a twin dichotomy rolled into one extraordinary person. She is the embodiment of this brilliant soul, a gamer, and a self proclaimed geek. Yet, for her bridals she played the part of Goddess. I love her quiet, simple beauty in every shot. She’s the princess who doesn’t need saving. She let me know ahead that the wedding would be elegant, but with an undercurrent of thematic elements from Legends of Zelda. We arrived at The Bell Tower on 34th here in Houston, and off we went in the mist and rain to shoot what easily became a favorite bridal session for me!
Who’s the fairest of them all?
I have to start with saying Kathy is a trooper. It was misting the entire day we went. Humidity was NOT our friend in the least. Never once did I hear a complaint. Kathy handled it all with grace and poise. I love the simplicity of so many of the pictures, as well as the soft, enchanted grace in many. The Bell Tower on 34th is a gorgeous setting for your wedding or bridals, by the way. So many beautiful little spots to tuck yourself into for very intimate, private images. I love the fact that you cannot tell this location is in the heart of the big city around it. And, before I stop, I do have to swoon over Kathy’s custom crown she wore for both bridals and wedding day. Isn’t she just incredible?! Be sure to share the love!!
