Chris and Katherine Brown Maternity Announcement!
This is probably the most hotly anticipated baby announcement of the year! You already know how I felt about shooting the engagement pictures for Katherine and Chris, as well as her incredible bridal session. So when I got the call that they needed me, for a different kind of shoot, I just about came unglued. I cannot even begin to describe how excited I was to find out that the person who was there my entire pregnancy with Erin (my daughter), was expecting a little miracle herself! We selected McGovern Centennial Gardens and put together quite the little pregnancy announcement shoot. We paired ideas Kathering and Chris already had in mind, and a few tricks I might have had too. In all, I’m thrilled with how they came out, and can’t wait to share them with you! What will the baby be? Boy or girl, one thing’s for sure. This baby will be loved, and surrounded by an amazing little family, and huge extended family!
When siblings get a promotion
I wanted to also take this moment to say how much I enjoyed incorporating Chris’s son, Charlie, in the session too. Charlie plays a huge role in the pictures. Not only are Katherine and Chris getting a promotion in their family, so is Charlie. As the dedicated role of big brother, this was every bit as much of a celebration for him too. From training up by reading up on what the new promotion entails, to dreaming about getting to play with a new friend, Charlie had a hand in the whole thing! I loved the playful nature the shoot took when we brought him in to read stories about what was coming, as well as get his take on what being a big brother meant. His smile really sets the pictures apart. Enjoy!
