Unique Engagement Pictures
In a Pinterest Engagement generation, the opportunity to do something truly unique for engagement pictures is rare. I have known Jordan pretty much his entire life. So, when I got to meet the love of his life, we knew something unique would absolutely be needed for their very special shoot. With a family member graciously opening his home for our particular shoot, we set out to make something beautiful! Rather than getting all dressed up, we took a relaxed afternoon at home approach. Untucked shirts, bare feet, natural makeup, all play a huge part in the intimate feel of this shoot. I love how these pictures are so much less about the surroundings, and so much more about the love. The ease in which this couple laughs with one another is evident. So many times we had to pause while everyone cracked up. Jordan’s sister , and one of my best friends, Genet, came to direct the shoot with a unique eye as well.
Off the Beaten Path

Not the moment of passion, but the moment you looked into one another’s eyes and said, “I want to spend every day doing this.” We quite literally made breakfast. They are eating doughnuts, drinking coffee, sitting on the porch, and sharing a moment in a hallway. We didn’t find a fancy palace. We didn’t need a park. Their celebration of their engagement is just as evident as if we were elsewhere. So, when planning your engagement session, just remember. This is a celebration of your love.
